Peggy has been doing massage and healing work for more than 20 years. After attending seminars at the Foundation for Meditative Studies, she found herself studying the healing work of Absuchan Ka and falling in love with the chance to improve the lives of others. In 1998 she expanded her experience by attending the School of Intuitive Massage and Healing in Santa Barbara, and became certified as a Massage Therapist. Since settling back in the San Fernando Valley she has taken many advanced classes on various massage techniques. Her repertoire includes Swedish, Deep Tissue, Aromatherapy, Trigger Point, Pregnancy, Reflexology, Post Surgery, Chakra, energy and crystal work. She recently added AromaTouch Therapy to her list of massage therapies. Peggy has been with Healing Hands Wellness Center and Spa for the past 9-1/2 years and looks forward to many more years of helping patients release their pain, and stress, so they can live their life to its fullest.
The majority of the work Kat does is deep tissue with therapeutic stretching; she is also certified in Swedish, Pregnancy, Trigger Point, Chakra Balance, Reiki 1, Acupressure Facelift, Geriatric Massage, and Sports massage and may use elements of all modalities during a session (or by request!). Kat spent a year teaching Swedish massage, including physiology and anatomy, which helped further her passion for and expertise in massage.
